That was a pretty good suggestion, gained me about 4fps. Another 6 I got from reducing the number of items in the toolbar panel.
On the right thereâs a blue scrollbar, scroll down to the bottom to find the Chase Camera section.
Thank you, dumb ??? me.
Didnât think about the scroll bar.
Interesting. Mine was turned on.
No idea how to display it.
Wait. Is it what is displayed in âExternalâ view?
Yep! However, it continues to incur the FPS penalty when youâre back in the cockpit. The penalty is never applied if you never go into external view.
Thank you. I use the âExternalâ view all the time.
Learned something new.
You bet! I hope it helps.
thanks i will try!
This is true.
Wow! I have wondered how to turn of those things! And now I have 40 fps inside the CRJ cockpit!! Thanks!!
Iâve not read the whole thread so forgive me if itâs been mentioned.
For the 3900X and similar and assuming your mobo supports it, enter bios and try disabling all but 4 cores in advanced OC settings. It shouldnât actually tie you constantly to the same 4 cores unless you also turn SMT control off.
I suggest try both but keep an eye on core temps with the latter and not just the socket.
Another thing often overlooked is updating BIOS to the latest version.
Is the sim always going to say that youâre either CPU- or GPU limited? I guess so.
Lots to read here, but Iâm running a 3900X/Strix 3090 combo w/64G of ram. Butter smooth.
Exactly when panning camera etc and when moving mouse inside cockpit those Microstutter just anoying but getting high fps tho
