Bluetooth speaker that can act as a microphone requires Handsfree Telephony service to be disabled every time PC is restarted, or sound quality is very poor. Also can only use speaker volume controls to control PC volume when this is done when in the game.

I did search for this bug and could not find one so I created using the template for bugs providing the information in the format requested, including details on my install. I am not sure why this is not being logged as a bug. This issue does not exist at all when using MSFS 2020 or any other application I have under Windows. MSFS 2024 is the only application I have ever encountered this issue. It is clearly approaching the sound input and output system differently than MSFS2020 and the need to do this every reboot is very annoying.
This is a bug though, as there is no normal way to turn off the BT mic input from the game. The game turning the mic on when you use bluetooth causes a low quality audio mode.
Even if i remove mic permissions from MSFS in the windows settings it still happens.
