OCTOBER 27, 2020 | POSTED BY: MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR TEAM

We encountered some issues related to the autopilot across various planes right before we were set to release Update 5. We decided to take some extra time to address the issues to ensure that everyone will enjoy this update.

Hey at least they didn’t release it broken, they listened

That was exactly what they needed to do before the update.

I am so glad they didn’t just release it or my eyes would hurt reading the amount of #self-service:bugs-issues topics going to be made.

@NJBlackthorn this picture somehow reminded me of BigScreen in VR, spawning popcorn and flinging it over other poeple watching a movie, so much fun! A bit childish but whatever

I’m speechless…

Yeah but did they fix the autopilot issues only to find more issues, or are they just remembering oh yeah we were going to fix the auto-pilot?

My day is ruined!

Oh no spoke too soon. Hopefully before the end of the week.

Haha, yeah pretty much… and nothing wrong with that, VR is the perfect place to be a kid again!

Or might have almost forgotten to look in each plane to see which ones had an autopilot.

Perfect update! I prefer to wait a little bit more than receive some random error!

Are you sure that the date listed is not from the new “Patch Date Bug?”

Please define “some extra time”… Does that mean minutes, hours or daze upon days?

It’s already broken.
