Popup message stays forever

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

This popup message appeared on screen and didn’t go away for the rest of the flight. There is no way to close it. It’s from FS2Crew addon but shutting it down didn’t solve it.
May be related to another bug reported here where ESC Back button stays on screen forever.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
1st time. I didn’t play FS2024 for several weeks.

Moved to Sim Update 2 Beta | MSFS 2024 > External 3rd Party Products since related to a 3rd party addon.

How is that related to 3rd party addon? This popup message is FS2024 feature, it was only triggered by 3rd party addon. The fact that I cannot close it is the fault of the game, not the addon.

You need to report the issue to the 3rd party developer. If you can reproduce the issue in the base sim without any addon then in that case report can be moved back to its original category.

This procedure has to be in place because the FS2Crew first needs to ensure that it isn’t a bug with their addon, or a regression issue cause by Sim Update 2.

If they determine that it is a bug with the SDK (which is what the FS2Crew addon would be using), there is a separate place where they have to report it, and the SDK team will fix it. Bugs in these forums don’t go to the SDK team.
