I previously posted that I thought the livery issue was related to there being no MODEL folder within the offending livery structure.
I have now confirmed this.
My CYPRUS livery was not working so I copied the model folder from a working livery, renamed to suit and edited the aircraft.cfg and layout.json to reference the new folder.
The CYPRUS livery now works as expected.
I am sure some clever person can right a script to carry out this procedure automatically.
A320nx mod is broken
I can confirm that while it may have worked for you, I have a 3rd party full aircraft that is experiencing the same issue, and model folders exist in that structure.
That’s exactly what I described in the opening post lol.
Tried this, followed directions to a tee, and now, the AA livery I downloaded doesn’t even show up as a selectable livery tile like it did before the fix??
Any suggestions?
Check you inserted a comma after the closing bracket in the layout. json part of the fix.
That was it! I just copied the text that they stated I should use for the json file and neglected to see that they inserted the comma in the example below.
