I just got the Logitech Flight Multi Panel, but I’m missing the FLC button. Is it possible to replace this button with for example VS or APR button? Any software for this?
Not riight now, the G1000 function are not yet exposed by the simconnect library, we must wait until the sdk are update by Asobo…

Yes, if you use SPAD. Pick one of the buttons that does nothing, then configure it with FLC functionality, which without checking I assume is exposed in SimConnect.

Doesn’t the IAS button serve that function when changing altitude?
To be clear, I’m not stating this, but asking since I’m still relatively new to this. I was under the impression using IAS and FLC did pretty much the same thing in regards to altitude change.

To be honest, I didn’t think that alone would work.
In the 930, VS/FLC change the behaviour of the little scroll wheel. So it looks like simply setting that toggle makes whatever control you are using for VS now affect your airspeed instead!

on the C172 work perfectly…
How did you do it? It worked for me yesterday, but after I started fiddel around with the settings in SPAD.neXt, FLC stopped working. I am also flying C172.
My configuration is still incomplete I’m adapting everithing to the behaviour of the G1000 (the Asobo G1000, not the real one 
).
right now only HDG FLC(IAS) ALT VS tested the others may works or not.
The master AP button engage/disengage AP on short press and turn on/off flight director on long press
