Post Patch TBM930 -- Anyone Figured Out How To Hide Yoke?

So, in the TBM930 you can no longer hide the yoke… and more importantly you can no longer access the INERT SEP, Pitot, etc. switches.

Or, at least I can’t with the mouse.

It’s hard to enjoy the higher performance, etc. when the ability to control aircraft inputs is broken… in the one plane that was always regarded as the “least broken”.

The TBM is now useless. The autostart will not work and when you manually start it, the throttle will not go over to the left so it is unusable. The TBM is broken. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I have nothing in my community folder. Other aircraft are working OK. Something is severely wrong with the TBM. It sucks since it’s my favorite plane. Of all planes to ruin.

I have the same issue on the longitude. says press ? (in a box) to interact. I searched the controls to assign a key and nothing I assume the control is called “set yoke viability” as thats what the game calls it but nothing…

Change “Lock” to “Legacy” in Cockpit Interaction System… bottom of the screenshot.

Thanks just did that and was going to post it. Works now.

Main menu - General Options - Accessibility - Switch “Cockpit Interaction System” to “Legacy”.

Wish they would have left it legacy with the option to change it. Seems like feature creep where even the simplest thing is now a 1 hour hunt just to do something that was a simple click…

Yup, it’s weird. Will probably be the number one thing people will be confused by/post about in the coming days without searching. Not a big deal, just something simple but not very intuitively labeled or explained yet majorly impacts all aspects of cockpit interaction… So I guess it is intuitively named, just not something you’d expect to change.

I was having this problem with throttle…try clicking the throttle with both left and right mouse button.

What does “Lock” mean?

Did you remove any TBM mods?
The Default TBM is working perfectly and i also prefer Lock control mode as its easier for turbulence and throttle startup, left click hold and right click to move throttle from left/right.

Lock mode is a new control mode found in Options > Accessibility >

Just to answer a few questions… no I didn’t remove any TBM mods because my MSFS2020 installation is completely un-modded.

Also, I am sure there is a work around specific for the yoke visibility – and I do get that is hw I titled the thread. But the issue is well beyond just not being able to hide the yoke. Numerous switches can no longer be interacted with – at all. By that I mean when you hover over, no popup at all.

So no, it isn’t an issue of not being able to adapt to the new UI. It is simply broken.
