Is anybody experiencing video stuttering and FPS drop in SU14 that wasn’t there before?

If you’ve got an Nvidia card, there was a hotfix driver that helped with some stutters if V Sync was enambled.
For what it’s worth.

OK. I guess that’s a good news/bad news thing. It’s not my system, but the problem exists.

I was running great on SU13 – no video/graphics issues – good FPS. Then SU14 applied and all of a sudden I’ve got stutters, with absolutely no changes to my system/hardware/OS/drivers/settings.

Is Asobo aware and working on a fix? Has this been reported as a bug in SU14?

there was a hotfix driver that helped with some stutters if V Sync was enambled.

I did have v-sync enabled. I disabled it and stuttering stopped. Is there a new driver or something?

Since SU13 and even more since SU14, the sim stutters and freezes massively when, I believe, it loads new scenery ahead of the plane. I enjoy otherwise butter smooth performance with my 4090/13990 in VR (Varjo Aero, no 2D flying). I can replicate this in any part of the world, with and without third party add-ons, same result with a completely empty community folder, with Asobo stock planes or third party planes. Anyone else? Might be a luxury problem for some, but it really breaks immersion

Performance Loss with SU14

I just decided to try out this beta because of the new cirrus, but I am very sad to see that I have lost 6 fps with it, from 58 to 52FPS limited in my usual test scenario, all the gains I had with SU13 are gone and now worse than before. I immediately reverted back and got the performance back, please fix this before release, there is nothing no graphical improvement i this version that justifies this. There’s a hotfix version 546.31.

Installing the Nvidia driver hotfix solved my stuttering problems. Flights are back to smooth again. Thanks!
