That’s a six-axis rig? I keep looking at that, are you happy with it, does it raise the experience up a level? Looks great!
Only 3. Pitch, yaw and roll. It does add to the sim in VR, I’m not too convinced on a flat screen. So right now, it’s pretty much just a stand.
I only fly GA and I keep it to a rather conservative setting, but it’s a lot of fun, specially in rough weather. I am happy with it and DOF reality customer service is very good.
Which model of rotary encoder did you buy on Amazon ? Have you a link ?
Thx
Sure: Rotary encoders
Also: the knobs
Here’s my setup. Can’t wait for when the autopilot MPC panels and G1000 work with air manager or something similar.
Impressive - did you make you own panels? If so, how?
cheers
Paul
My current cockpit, not usable due to Asobo/MS Dolphin Dance
You can see my co-pilot on the top of the 2nd picture, usually she is sitting next to me disabling the Autopilot… she is more the manual pilot
Here is mine with the new Alpha; the rudder pedals arrive in two days. I am using the Hotas just for the throttle and rudder, waiting for the Honeycomb Beta ;).
The Alpha looks fantastic with your setup, do you have the light switches working with MSFS2020? (I mean without them messing up with the HDG and ALT bugs)
Here’s my office… I think I’m doing fairly well, but I have to say that you guys with your welded cockpits and even actual aircraft seating frames are putting the rest of us to shame!
Thanks.
No, I do not use the light switches on the yoke due to the bugs in MSFS. Instead, I use the switches on saitek panels.
