Here’s another special one. I’m escorting one-eyed pilot Shinji Maeda (the pilot from this video) on the first leg of his Earthrounder. He just took off from Everett Paine Field on his Beech Bonanza N9787Y “Lucy.”
He’s going to fly all the way around the world on this small general aviation aircraft after becoming a pilot and then an instructor against all odds. There are no words to express how inspiring this is.
