I was a full-time history teacher, here in LA, when I started this hobby. I could only do a flight on a weekend or on holidays, then, back to the grind stone. Did not help that there were other cool games, not sims, that sapped my attention. Now, I have time, but osteoarthritis in my spine is cramping my style… Keep 'em flying and enjoy when you can. The sim has progressed so much since the 90s… and I thought it was cool back then.
I was born in '56, and went to university in the early 70s, so I missed out on military experience. Did go to a few military air shows at Mugu and Edwards. Most of my flying fantasy comes from all the movies I’ve seen, since the 60s, and, with the sim, having opportunities to recreate favorite moments. You have YouTube, so watch away and get some ideas - makes the planes and scenery in the sim more relevant. Keep 'em flying, Chum!

New repaint I’ve released on FS.to for the default MSFS 2024 Curtiss Jenny, recreating the JN-4H that is owned and operated by the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. I’ve been wanting to make a repaint of this particular aircraft for some years now, and the recently-released Old Rhinebeck scenery by Garciamk pushed me over the edge.
