It would be great to have powerlines in the Sim for more realistic AG Mission experience. These limited to the specific AG Mission areas by necessity to allow for collision detection.
Some real-world AG pilots fly under power lines/telephone wires while crop dusting. It’s a legit maneuver performed by highly skilled AG pilots like Patrick Cohen, the pilot in the video below.
At the 7:00 minute mark, Patrick talks about a powerline he’ll need to negotiate and what goes into the under/over decision.
At the 8:00 minute mark, he drops down and starts the pass, flying under the powerline.
