Pre Order Bonus?

I read there you would receive a bonus or some free extra content or points for Pre Ordering?
If not, what was the point of pre paying even if you purchased the base edition?

cash grab, there was no preorder incentive. why preorder a digital product lmao. (intrest free loan)

The least that could have been done is to let the pre orders install first… currently at 14 hours with probably only 30 days more to go for the download… and no I’m not on dial up lol… and Yes read and done all the help tips in threads…… this deployment is SHAMEFUL!!! they could have put it on a usb stick and sold it in retail stores.

it took me 6 hrs. no problems at 50mbs download speed. I installed on an NVME drive.So far it is awesome!

Sounds about right to me. Took me just over 3 hrs at 100mbps. I did have to move to Kiribabi for a while, but that’s another story.

I hear you, I found a couple of things to help, if you search in google “FS taking forever to download” or something along those lines, you should see a topic from Aug 17th where they walk you through a few commands in the Command Prompt and a quick restart should help. And if you are hung up with 3.68 GB left, try deleting the last file it downloaded in the main folder, and starting again, it should give the install a kick in the butt and to not get hung up. Hope this helps and good luck. It’s frustrating and it shouldn’t happen for a launch, but it always does somehow. :frowning: GTA V was a 90GB download from Epic and it took less than an hour.
Oh well.

Erm you are making stuff up. There was NEVER any official mention of a pre order bonus perhaps rather than listening to gossip in the community get your information from the source. The developers NEVER once said there was a pre order bonus.

Googling that phrase, each one of those articles doesn’t indicate what those bonuses might be.

Translation: you get more content the higher the version tier you go - i.e., all the bonus planes and airports.
