Problem beginning to Use Ornithopter

I started to use the new Dune application. I started the tutorial and was able to get the ornithopter to rise up in the air and move forward, but as soon as it came to the cliff, and I wanted to stow the wings, it stopped and an MSFS window message appeared where it claimed I could go to the main menu or restart the training. This happened several times. It also happens if I start on an airport runway and lift up in the air, then move forward a little bit; it crashes again. Is anybody else having any problems getting the ornithopter started or crashing to a menu window that shows restart to menu or training options? There is no drop in FPS occurring before the crash or any other indicators of a problem. The controls are set for the ornithopter ok. Thanks

Hi @ClankyTurtle83
Does the message look like this:

If the message you’re getting doesn’t say you’ve left the training area, the next thing I’d check is your bindings. Go into whatever peripheral you’re using to fold the wings, and check by “input” and see what happens when you press the button/key to fold the wings and see if it’s bound to something else that might cause the issue. I’d also check to see if the key/button is a toggle so that when you first press it, it closes the wings and you need to press it again to re-open the wings. It might be that the key/button is closing the wings and then re-opening them if you’re holding that button/key. Several possible binding combos that could cause you not getting the wings to fold properly when you pitch over and then hit the key/button.
