Problem mapping throttles to both two engine and four engine planes

Hi,

There is the possibility in the setup to assign commands regarding engine power , managing up to 4 engines.
I have a Logitech G940 joystick with throttle separable (into two parts Left and Right).

The problem is to find how to configure the engine management in order to be able to apply more power on one side for both two-engine and four engine planes.

The mappings of the engine numbers in the setup are as follows:

two-engine
1||2

four-engine
12||34

If I assign the joystick throttles to the engine numbers this way
1=L
2=L
3=R
4=R

It is OK, for a four-engine
LL||RR

But engine power is managed by only one throttle (left) for a two-engine
L||L

And if I assign the joystick throttles to the engine numbers this way
1=L
2=R
3=L
4=R

It is OK, for a two engine
L||R

But “asymmetric” power cannot be managed for a four engine
LR||LR

So ,either I missed something, or there are parameters missing in the setup in order to be able to correctly configure both two-engine and four-engine planes ?

I have wondered this myself but never tried mapping a 4 engine. Is it not possible to set up a separate profile for different “loadouts”?

Yes you can save different controller assignments under profile manager. I set up my controls differently for each plane i fly, so when you change plane just choose the correct controller profiles.

There is a couple of wishlist items relating to this. One asking for the controller assignments to be automatically changed when you change plane. The other asking for only those controls relevant to the plane currently selected to be available for mapping. Be good if you can vote for these.
