I am beginning the Appalachian Summits bush trip and just completed the 4th leg.
Upon starting leg #5 from Ashville regional to Elk river, I noticed that the VFR map shows KAVL as the expected starting point, so does the G 1000. However the PFD shows different info : it shows in purple on top of the display 57NC to USR 21 which is the first segment on leg #4 not 5…
Two questions: is this a known bug? Is there a way to bypass this leg and start directly at #6? Any other advice will be appreciated! J-L

Hi @Bellus1072
I haven’t tried it with that particular bush trip, but since it’s the Beech, you should be able to go into the MFD and press the FPL button, then hit the end of the FMS dial, and then rotate down to the waypoint you want to actually go toward and select it as your desired waypoint.
I know this has been an issue in other bush trips, so I’d catalog it as a bug, but who knows!
Regards
Great answer which works!! Thx a lot
