Problem with course and nav

There is the problem regarding my IFR flights where is a sharp bend.
When I’m approaching to the bend the airplane suddenly turns off the NAV mode and maintain flying straight, instead turning.
Any ideas how to avoid it, any tricks for this ??

What aircraft? I just set up a couple of waypoints in a Cessna 172 G1000 with a turn of around 80 degrees that worked OK I was in a slow commanded FL type climb at about 75kts.

Then tried a more extreme turn in the Steam Powered 172 and tried a more severe turn of about 130 degrees, and that was fine.

Was your throttle set according to what was expected? Bearing in mind that if your speed is too low, it might not carry out the turn. It won’t descend unless you make sure the throttle is reduced to stop an overspeed for example. So, maybe try again while monitoring airspeed and see if that works.

EDIT:
Just checked - speed is not the issue. I just tried the above situation, but reduced speed just before the turn. The AP remained in NAV mode with ALT set while stalling for a couple of minutes until I restored power with the throttle & manually recovered from the stall.
