When I right click on the desktop and go to Nvidia Control Panel and set the frame rate to 30 fps it doesn’t have any effect as in the sim the frame rate is unlimited, but if I go into the larger Nvidia Profile Inspector and set it to 30 in there it shows as a max of 30 in the sim. Why is that? I have VSync turned off in the sim settings.
Do you have an app profile created for Flight Sim? It sounds like when using the global settings from the desktop it is being over ridden by the profile you are adjusting in the inspector.
I have the same problem, but I have GSYNC monitor
No I don’t have a profile set up for MSFS. Even with nothing at all set up for MSFS in the Nvidia Inspector I still can’t set a frame rate limit in the Nvidia Control Panel and have it work in the sim. I also just installed the latest drivers and that made no difference. Very strange.
