I have never learned how to use the FMC other than to enter the ILS frequencies. Now, I am unable to do that. When I press the NAV RAD button, the field into which I want to place the ILS frequency has a display next to it “PARK” and gives me an error when I try to enter the frequency. Multiple aircraft and has been there for some time. What does this mean and how do I get rid of it? Any assistance would be appreciated since I now have to land manually. Not really a bad thing but kind of a pain.

What aircraft are you using?
Normally the 787 but the problem occurs elsewhere also
Acceptable formats can vary from plane to plane, but for the 787, I think the format requires a course. So, FREQ/CRS

BigCow74 is correct, frequency plus runway heading is required.
Thank you so much for your reply. It turns out that you were correct. If I add course to the entry it is accepted and works. Never would have guessed that. There is a field a few rows up to enter course. Problem solved thanks to you. Thanks again,
