Problemas catching ils

Dear all, many thanks in advanced so you always help me with my issues. When I do approach, everything goes fine until the purple triangle on the PDF of the plane has to became full purple. It doesn´t do it so although I,m on the path and the correct altittude the plane doesn.t start with the last descend until the runway. Someone with the some problem?

I have included some liveryes, some planes so maybe I have changed something I shouldn´t.

Are you using the A320X? Is the Approach Mode activated on the FCU? Is the ILS identifier displayed on the bottom left corner on the PFD? Maybe the frequency isn’t tuned correctly.

Thanks. It happens with all the planes I can do ILS. The diamond it’s full purple but when it’s supposed to start final descent to the beggining of the landing runway, keeps flying at the same height. For instance, with but weather I cannot land so it’s not easy to approach manually.

These settings can affect the issue.
Check and confirm that you have these set:

  • Under “General”
    Set “Flight Model” to “Modern”, not “Legacy”.
  • Under “Assists”
    Set all “Piloting” assists to “Off”
  • When you are in the sim, from the “winged” sim icon, Open AI Control (icon to the right of the yoke icon), and ensure that “Control Aircraft” is “Off” (button placed to the left).

Don’t be offended by the obvious, but you are in appr mode, right?

If you’re still having issues, it might be helpful to pick out a specific plane for troubleshooting.

Thanks. Yes, I connect Appr mode but it doesnt work.

Are you familiar with approach intercept procedures?

Yes. I’ve doing it without any problem until this issue. I have a Honeycomb Bravo and maybe I have to check if happens since then.
