Is anyone else having issues since last update. My audio freezes on start up, Manual Cache results in MSFS ‘NOT RESPONDING’ with three finger salute (ctrl/alt/del) , Lost ability on World Map to click and select random in flight Dep. Point, Downloaded and installed SDK, yet constantly in right upper it says SDK update available.
I have tried to reset app. didn’t work So I uninstalled and preformed a complete reinstall, didn’t work.
Was working great until latest update.
Any help or advice…something i missed perhaps, much appreciated.
I have new issues too since the last upgrade. Before, I had no bugs whatsoever. Now, it will not even let me choose my airports and crashes before I even start to fly. I am trying different things, but so far unsuccessful.
Sh’ld be a fantastic platform if we could get the bugs out. Like yourself, my sim was working fine, no bugs. Had just about worked out using SDK for scenery, then that too changed.
Happened me also. Just was getting used to the SDK and Scenery Dev, as Ireland, pretty much non existent in MSFS bar one or two ‘efforts’. No landmarks what so ever in City, nor ‘Twin Towers’ (Pidgeon house generating station) in the bay. A massive work in progress for myself (when MSFS working). Save your files/projects to a separate directory, even copy and paste to external HD, when sys. reinstalls, copy them back, keeping an external hard copy of your files and projects, in case of further issues. ( In fairness, a platform such as MSFS, never before been done, bound to be the odd hi-cup)
I have reinstalled it on a new 2TB and everything works fine now. I had a 1 TB available for MFS but realized that with upgrades of 40 GIG a few times a year, plus some extra sceneries bought here and there, plus some freewares, my HD would be filled within a few years. The computer store reprogrammed my computer so that everything bought through Microsoft Store goes into the new SSD 2TB. So far, everything is stable and I still cannot believe how fantastic the lighting is, and how realistic MFS2020 is. I would not fly anything else.
