I uninstalled the game because I wanted to move it to another drive where I have more memory capacity.
At first it indicated that I had to download 81.85 gigs. I started installing the game, paused it and closed the window. I still needed 24.17 Gigs. Right now I want to continue with the download. It starts the download, but after a certain time the download restarts and it doesn’t record anything in the folder. It is not an internet problem.

You should not uninstall FS2020 to move it to a new drive.
Use the Win 10 Settings, Apps and use the “Move” command in the
MS Flight Simulator APP.
Maybe you overlooked the simulation is installing in parts and updating packages?
You can keep MSFS installed to the default C directory and set a custom path on another drive for the Packages folder. That portion of the game is largest and leaving the app (small) on C will avoid permission issues with randomly created WindowsApps folders on your other drive, allow you to reinstall Windows, and perform Reset/Repair under the MSFS app setttings - all without having to redownload the 100+GB Packages.
Example: D:\PC Games\Microsoft\MSFS\Packages
If you need to move the Packages folder it is located under
C:\Users\[YourUserName]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\

MSFS app needs to be moved by the system as stated above, otherwise Packages can be anywhere long as MSFS knows the path.

Quick way to set the custom Packages path is move the Packages folder, perform a Reset/Repair under the MSFS app settings, and then the launch MSFS. The app will launch as if it was just installed for the first time and ask for the Packages path.
