Problems using Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo

When I use MSFS 2020 with my Thrustmaster joystick the program works fine… but when I connect my Honeycomb Alpha and/or Bravo controls, it seems like MSFS is not acknowledging the controls.

The programmed Beacon, Landing, Taxi & strobe lights etc. don’t work with the Alpha switches also if I use the mouse to try to turn on the lights it still doesn’t work.

The yoke doesn’t work correctly, After the plane takes off the plane rolls to the left and does a nosedive directly into the ground no matter how I turn the yoke.

I thought it may be a problem with the yoke but if I disconnect the yoke and just use the Throttle Quadrant same thing happens. I find it unlikely that the Yoke (Alpha) and the throttle quadrant (Bravo) are both bad at the same time.

I deleted MSFS 2020 2 times and reloaded it again, I also configured the Alpha numerous times to no avail.

If I disconnect them the program works fine.

Is anyone else having this problem. If so what did you do to correct it?

Having no issue swapping between these peripherals I’m afraid.

Problems like this are usually caused by keybind conflicts. You must make absolutely certain you don’t have multiple peripherals bound to the same function.

Do you have the AFC bridge software installed?

This is a conflict between the toggle switches on the Bravo, and the labeled light switches on the Alpha. Go into the in-game controller mapping, select the Bravo, and use the “what does this switch do” input (the 2nd one from the top on the left I think). Clear and then verify the switches that were assigned to lights.

Go here. Follow the steps.

As colleagues say, it is sure to be a conflict of functions. For example, you can test with the “nav” lights. search in each of the peripherals for that function and delete it and make it active only in the alpha peripheral. Once you have done that, save and apply it and test it.
