In the effort to try to make Flight Simulator compatible with xbox it became an arcade.

  • The user interface loaded by default is a joke
  • The MOD A32NX shows all the buttons lights flickering, tablet is not working
  • it took me a while just to understand how to exit from the flight and come back to the initial page
  • zooming in into the airport to select the gate the system crashed two times.

Then I simply closed the game cause I never had a single CTD since first installation in November and I’m very annoyed cause I was very happy with the game till the update. Now is a mess, I’m not paid to be a beta tester

So don’t play games if it bothers you that much. These are the times we live in, where no game is ever released “complete”, and consumers are expected to find/report the issues and just deal with it until they’re fixed. No, I don’t agree with this policy in any way, shape or form, but it is what it is. There are too many people who are happy to keep jumping on new products regardless of their state, complain about it’s flaws, but then fail to vote with their wallet the next time… and the time after that… and the time after that.

In other words, our collective attitude as consumers over the last couple of decades has helped to create the environment in which this practice is “acceptable” and doesn’t hurt profits. We’re at the stage now where the only options left to each of us is to either accept it and soldier on, or to find a new hobby.

No, I did. Is your A32NX fully working? no flickering? Tablet Ok?

Did FBW update the mod yet?

I don’t think so, but being also on the marketplace, so a sort of official mode, I believe it would be fair to test it before release a new simulator update

Yes my NX is working. I’m using the dev branch with the outside installer.

I did nt clean out the folder and i am having issues is there a way i can redo ithe update?

You could try now to backup and clean your folder. try to restart the game with no mods in the community

Update the development version. Dude, before you complain here, do your homework and try to find solutions. Its mentioned everywhere that you need to update some 3rd party stuff. Every developer, including FBW, is posting updates troughout the day for the new update…

It is not. the Marketplace version is old AF and most updates the developers published for the airports today are not on the marketplace yet. Thats why one doesnt buy from there but directly from the developers. We know since a year now that marketplace is always way behind with updates…

i just updated the dev version of the 32x and it crashed the sim once it loads in to the airport

Here it just stopped while acquiring licenses for an item.

Please, any folks that experience server messages… post your location. Servers seem to have an issue supporting flight, during these buzy times. Especially starting the evening around 19:00 20:00, issues start (in Europe that happened)

Take into account MS/Asobo is pumping petabytes to users atm, the servers have no time for us pilots atm :shushing_face: I’ve seen a LOT of complaints tonight..

I’m in LA. I assumed it was a congestion issue. I guess this means I have to scratch my flight this evening from Kalispell, MT to Flagstaff, AZ. Lol.

Agreed.

Not a big fan of the changes that have been made to the UI.

Have been pretty stable since install in December and seeing +45fps mostly in the rural areas I’ve been flying now for a couple of months.

Since update I have been unable to complete a flight because either TrackIR has stopped working and I needed to restart the game to fix that or CTD. (More CTD’s today than all previous CTD’s combined)

This version is not stable.

Ctd’s have settled down since launch day. Asobo might want to look into what server accesses functionality (or lack of) might cause the sim to crash.

There are still a number of issues, numerous but much less critical than CTD’s. It’s still a less stable than usual version.
