Process pauses for long periods when loading a Flight

Brief description of the issue:
Often when loading a Flight from the Main Menu the Sim will “Pause” (hang) for a prolonged period at the same part of the loading screen, anywhere from 10seconds to 1minute. It’s as though the whole Process of the Sim pauses, as you can see in the MSI Afterburner box (bottom right) the CPU stops working which suggests nothing is happening. This happens both With and Without mods in the Community Folder, I cannot reproduce it, it happens randomly.

I sometimes experience “hangs” of between 1 or 2 seconds at the loading screen, but never in the range of what you describe.
I consider 1 or 2 seconds as being “normal”.

I’ve been experiencing this since December. The game is unplayable in its current form. I have not seen a clear indication from the company on whether they 1. Have repro’d the problem, or 2. Found a fix for it.

At this point, FlightSIm is just taking up space on my hard drive and is utterly useless.
