[Product Announcement] Miltech Simulations Supercarrier Pro for MSFS

no response, only evasion… for me, it’s clear no more money for your products

I like your products ! but sorry

The best answer we can give you is: will be out when its ready.

Ready meaning: free of bugs, stable on all platforms and with all the new features complete.

Will that take more than a month? definitely not. Am I confident enough to announce a release date? Not yet. We have internal deadlines, but given how things go in software, and learning from the community response on this thread and across our social channels, we are no longer announcing release dates.

Keep in mind that this is an update that will add 3 new ships, new features and improvements across multiple areas on an already-functioning product. This is NOT a critical update by any means.

I’m looking forward to the update. I have uninstalled it for now, because the last update wouldn’t complete downloading due to the ongoing issues with slow downloads via the content manager, and the long load times it induced when launching MSFS, but I will try again once the new update is released to patch that long load time issue.

Just for you … it’s not enough :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yes, I stop buying their products…I already bought 4

Please keep discussions civil and on-topic.

Can you, in the future, put one moving Ford class in the south Adriatic sea?
That’s the place where she spent many months in the last year.

Please don’t change Cape Cod Bay (it is actually called Massachusetts Bay but that is being pedantic) because that is going to be a great place to practice with the carrier!

Alright everyone - Working on the last few details, placing locations and final adjustments to the FrenchCDG carrier. We are now expecting a release of V1.1.0 early next week - Probably monday or tuesday.

As usual, this only represents the date it will become available at ORBX and Miltechsimulations.com. MS Marketplace may take ~2 more weeks to process the release.

Is this coming out soon?

The update has been sent to distributors and should be released anytime soon. MS Marketplace will take longer, as usual.

Apologies for the delays, very hectic past few weeks

“Short weeks” lol!

Sorry, I can’t help but chuckle at us being on opposite ends of the time spectrum lately. You and your crew are working your butts off to bring us new content and I am sure the days are flying by while we sit like baby birds in a nest endlessly clamoring for more and acting like it has been forever since you last fed us!

Thanks for taking the time to respond to the questions though, it is always nice to hear how things are going for you as developers.

ORBX and MiltechSimulations.com (Contrai) should get the update in just a matter of a few hrs. MS Marketplace is unpredictable, as usual.

Did the feature of spawning carriers in custom locations not make it to this update? Know it was on the roadmap and was really looking forward to it.

Nope, that will require a LOT more work. We have always had it on the “backlog”, and it’s doable, but to be fully honest we don’t have the capacity to work on that right now.

This requires a Windows App to be developed, and the addressable market is only about ~20% of customers (the other 80% bought the product on the Marketplace and hence won’t have access to this tool)

Edit: We have also experimented with another way of achieving this, fully within the sim. Now that one is very interesting, but may have some limitations - requires further R&D.
