I still consider that wishlist item as a great idea. Often enough I meet random flyers somewhere in the middle of nowhere and it would be just great for the community to have radio integrated in the sim and to tune in…
For users above fearing kids, spam or immersion killers: just disregard or disable this feature then. I also don’t use the flight assistant, but still think it’s a very helpful feature for some users or scenarios.
Any idea why this hasn’t made it onto the official wishlist despite 164 votes? Was it considered as too complex / too big efforts to build or going beyond the scope of the sim or against its philosophy / bad idea etc.? Would be nice to learn what’s the status and thoughts of the dev team.
