FL31 might be a bit high since the max certified alt is FL30 or 30,000ft. You do however need to worry about pressurizing the cabin. Thats most likely the cause of the messages. People start to need oxygen from about 8,000ft and cabin pressure is usualy kept around 5,000ft.
Turbine engines are (FADEC) electronically controlled and have no issues at those altitudes.
