I asked msfs zendesk if the PMDG 737-800 is returning to the store or not and can we have our simvers coins back and remove the non functional aircraft from our hangers
I GOT A RESPONSE!!!
Contact the developer to report the issue and request direct assistance.
That was the response…
Bare in mind PMDG have no control over simverse coins only Microsoft
I forgot to mention that I spoke to a representative & manager from microsoft and xbox team who stated that the handling of this specific situation has fallen short of what microsoft would expect, However microsoft support recommended Zendesk to be the point of contact for this specific PS5 issue and were not impressed by the lack of communication and hand offs we have received.
The Xbox assistant also stated that had had I been on xbox this situation would of been easily resolved and a complete refund would of already happened.
As a support team, we are committed to assisting you within the boundaries of these policies. Unfortunately, we do not have the tools or authorization to bypass these rules
Functional testing and sign-off of each addon is the responsibility of each product’s respective developer, not Microsoft or Asobo. Add-on creators are fully responsible for supporting the content they sell on the Marketplace. This includes addressing compatibility issues, resolving technical problems, and gathering feedback on features.
As previously stated, please get in touch with the developer to report the issue and request direct assistance.
Seriously, why are the Community Managers not escalating this? Why are the Moderators not raising this up the chain? PS5 MP purchasers are literally stuck in a loop of denyability!
Madness when MS get 30%, Sony get 30% and PMDG must be getting the rest - you buy it with coins in a MS PS5 MP which is managed by Sony and PMDG deny any financial responsibility - customers have no chance of resolving anything here - it is illegal for a customer to have no recourse, no purchase proof/receipt.
Was it PMDG who requested the 737 to be removed alonside the 777? If yes then it 100% falls in those categories. Man, this makes me so cross - I could think of many words to express myself but I doubt that will help us.
I have been confused for 6 years now how MSFS Marketplace can legally operate here in Australia.
The entire no refunds, coins and handling of it is actually illegal and yes Steam changed globally to suit Australia in the past, MS should have to either pull Marketplace here completely or fix their slop.
I have a PS5 but haven’t even attempted MSFS on there, mostly because i already bought both version on PC but i was hoping if i did in the future it would be not so painful.
We will contact Microsoft and politely ask them not to respond in that way, as the information provided is simply incorrect and rather misleading. We already have enough confusion without adding a little extra.
To be clear, we currently have no idea what the actual problem is. We have reached out to Microsoft asking for clarification, but so far have only been told that things will be clearer in a few weeks. We also do not understand why one 777 has been released while the others remain held back and why the 737 was retracted. Apparently, there is a logic to it somewhere; we just haven’t been fortunate enough to discover it yet.
Regarding refunds: these will always have to be handled by the company you paid. PMDG simply does not know who purchased what through the Marketplace. Microsoft does not share that information with us, so unfortunately we cannot access or refund purchases made there.
The whole situation is highly frustrating. We genuinely value our console customers, and at the moment they are simply not getting the experience, information, or support they deserve. We would very much like to change that, but right now we are waiting for answers ourselves.
As stated previously, we have no access to the accounts and billing departments for Sony, so any refund requests must be made directly through PlayStation support and any refund requests are subject to their return policies.
So this is supposedly from a different team within MSFS.
So just to round things up…
SONY management state - They have no access to MSFS marketplace purchases including receipts of purchases made from the MSFS Marketplace. SONY management also state its down to microsoft.
MSFS Internal team state - They have no access to purchases made through their own marketplace on PlayStation along with not providing receipts of purchases made within their own marketplace. MSFS also state its down to SONY.
This is a big concern around governing laws that gamers are protected by within certain countries that they reside that prevent this exact thing from happening and currently MSFS are in breach of these laws that override their own company policies. These laws are also protecting XBOX and PC users.
I think its time for Jorg to look into this failing.
Yes Jorg should absolutely be looking into this. This thread gets no comment from a CM.
This is what they call stuck between a rock and a hard place or catch 22!
So what chance of it being brought to his attention
With the lack of acknowledgement and communication on this particular subject within this forum by the MSFS team… One can only presume that someone has told them to stay silent and not to respond on this matter.
There are many next steps I can take to protect against this corruption but its about selecting the best one
