PSA: Disable all traffic to prevent instrument, avionic, autopilot and other issues [UPDATED]

I did not notice that.

If it helps, I think if I don’t use FLC mode, the AP will work pretty well. FLC mode might work okay if I don’t enable it until I am airborne and showing a live speed on the speed indicator. My working theory is that by engaging FLC mode on the ground a bug causes FLC and pitch to pitch back until the speed is zero, but I haven’t fully tested that theory yet.

Okay, so I wasn’t losing my mind then.

Yeah, I didn’t engage anything until I was well airborne, but I just thought it was something I did. Once I lost vertical control, AP became useless. I was going to reboot and see if the problem went away (I suspect it would have) but by the time I got to my destination, I was tired and called it a night.

Great. I´ll try this since my fuel keeps dissapearing after 1 hour flying.

Well the latest patch does not seem to have addressed this issue, at least in the Baron, the onlyplane I have tried since the patch, still had the brightness self adjust to minimum and then the right side MFD blacked out, you can switch it on again with the avionics switch but it doesn’t last long. Same fix as before, no other traffic, seems to work.

That’s disappointing. The DA62 goes to full bright at random.

Yesterday I noticed “flickering” radio towers on the VFR Map, and Ignition switches on the TBM randomly turning off and on, with no effect on flight.

When consider this potential issue of other Multiplayer planes, affecting your plane, do not forget that there is a whole complex Multiplayer SERVER running somewhere, trying to get information from all the planes in the session(s) and then sendiing a subset of that information out to planes so they can see those near them.
There is also the Hopeful potential of Shared Cockpit, which, if being developed on the server, may well be just as Buggy as our MSFS installation.

Today, it is getting more and more true that

"However Controls the servers, control the World"
