Wouldn’t it be great to talk to your fellow pilots who are flying in the air, ie. A PTT UHF, within a 1 mile radius and a group chat option.
Always thought it would be a great idea, finally be able to talk to the pilots around Scotland at remote airports and chin wag about the airport etc.
A bit like euro truck simulator, where it only works within a set distance of each other.

While I would like to see something similar to this, especially if you could use a custom frequency to talk on, I think there would be too many downsides that would prevent it. Mainly being that this is an online community and as with all things internet, there would be griefers out there that would purposely ruin the experience. Somehow doubt that Asobo/MS would want to implement some sort of policing mechanism for this. As it it, using Discord PTT chat has been a good work around for me when I’m in a group flight.
Why not use Discord? I thought that’s what it was created for. Or Teamspeak is another.
I agree. It would need a way for users to block others or only allow others say in a group but because there are other solutions already for this I don’t at all think it should be a priority for the sim. They have bigger fish to fry.
