I’m in the 1st leg of the new MSFS trip using the aircraft provided & the RPM is hitting the 2,300 mark & flashing the warning ‘red light’ even though I am climbing at a sedate 100’ pm & the throttle is at 45 %.
Is there someway to manage the RPM other than via the throttle?
TG
I assume it’s the DA40 or DA62. No, you can’t control prop RPM in these aircraft.
Theses significantly wrong RPMs have been reported already during alpha testing.

Its the DA40.
Ok, thank you, I’ll ignore it

This is a new issue in DA40NG. It was never right to begin with, but WU4 broke it further.
In a ‘correct’ set up for this aircraft are the RPM’s tied to the % throttle being used?
TG
Yes. In the “correct” set up, you also have FADEC.
