with nVidia’s current price policy I really don’t see why I should support them anymore, so I’m considering to switch to an AMD card. Now I’ve read that the encoder they’re using is not really on par with nVidia, and as an owner of a Quest 2, it’s quite an important aspect for me. So I’m looking for people who have experience with RDNA 2 cards and the Quest 2. Is it still an issue with actual drivers, and how bad is it compared to nVidia cards? For example, is a 6950 XT performing worse than a 3070 because of it?
