I also upgraded from a G2 to a Quest Pro and, imo, it is a NIGHT AND DAY improvement in every aspect, except for onboard audio. I do have a 4090/7950x3D combo though, so maybe that factors in. Even with lower specs on paper, I think the FOV is better, the edge to edge clarity is fantastic and being able to see my screens with much less head movement is very nice. I refer to it as an “Aero-Light” because you get most of the way to the Aero experience (yes, I have tried that headset as well) without the insane cost associated with getting it up and running.
