I did find a setting between sharpness and blurriness but the picture quality is still good enough to consider keeping it. However, I’m noticing lag with the controllers and also momentarily loss of connection to the headset so the controllers very often disappear and reappear within a second or two while holding and using it, which is really annoying.
When you hold a button down, and move it, it freezes for a second after you release the button. Still wasn’t smooth after I deactivated face and eye tracking.
It would be helpful if a Quest Pro owner could confirm whether this behavior exists or not.
UPDATE:
Last night my QP got an update that fixed the controller issues. I used them for about 30 minutes without experiencing the behaviors I described above. I’ll be keeping the QP irrespective of SDE - I guess I’ll get over it considering the clarity, colors, acceptable FOV, controllers, general design, and comfort. Hopefully, the next generation will solve the SDE issue.
