Question about the FAA and Other Countries?

Hello @TheTwister7156,

The FAA is a US-specific agency under the Department of Transportation that governs flight in the United States only. Other countries have their own government agencies that perform similar functions. For example, in Canada, the governing body of aviation is Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), and in the UK, it’s the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

For international agreements, the global governing body is ICAO, the International Civil Aviation Organization.

Thanks,
