I have a question about installing the deluxe or the premium over the standard…How do I update the Flight Sim? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Just go to the marketplace. If you have the Standard version there will be an option to add either the Deluxe or Premium versions. This is what I did. I started with the Standard version to see if I would like the sim. A few days later I updated to the Premium because I wanted the steam gauge 172. I did this on the Steam version - it was pretty much seamless.

Sorry, I can not remember. I can’t even remember if it acted like an add-on or re-downloaded the whole thing. I have a 160Mbps connection, I don’t recall the upping to the premium version taking that long.
Where did you buy the standard version of the game, or are you playing through the game pass?
Becarefull upgrading if you have a game pass version of the game, as if you cancel the game pass, you loose the expansion of deluxe and premium. Searching the forum will realise other users with upgrade issues.
However if you purchased the game through steam or MS, and not an other reseller, you should be good.
