Question on Steam version and how it works with GSX

I have been getting more and more applications lately that just don’t like encrypted addons. GSX can’t read the airports for service. RAAS can read the airports for taxiway advisories. I have three other apps that don’t like encrypted packages, but I can’t think of them at the moment.

I originally was on XBox. I had $3000 worth of addons. I have slowly been re-purchasing those addons from outside the store. Also, anything new I make sure I don’t purchase in the store unless I am forced to. Even things like my airports from the Premium Deluxe edition can’t be read.

So I am wondering if I purchase the Steam edition, are now all the base packages, the Carenado planes, world updates etc all not encrypted anymore? If I purchase something through the ingame store, is it encrypted?

I just want a solution that ultimately all the applications I purchase and all my addons work in harmony. If I fly out of the World Update airport, I still want GSX to be able to read it, and I still want RAAS to be able guide me with the runways. So if I purchase the Steam version, will that work?

The code is the same but the packages should now not be encoded under SU10

Thanks. I already pulled the trigger and re-purchased the premium deluxe version for Steam. I had already purchased half of my XBox purchases as Community versions.

So I did repurchase a couple of the famous flyers, and one Carenado plane so far. But I have enough to keep me busy with things to do. So this seems to be working out better. GSX can see everything, RAAS can see everything. My career app can see my planes and airports. I just replaced FSHUD with Pilot2ATC since I am using RealTraffic now, but haven’t seen P2A having an issue. So yeah, this seems much better.
