Hi there, I was just calibrating my joystick and in Sensitivity it says Deadzone. What is that referring to and or what does that mean? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
A deadzone is a small area around the center of an axis where small movements of the controller are ignored. I run mine around 5%. A lot of sticks have a little bit of play in them when they are in a the centered position and the deadzone keeps any of that loose play from being translated into control surface movement in the airplane.
