I’ve seen in YouTube videos a rainbow effect. Is it possible to force these to be visible without having to get the weather set up just right (trial and error)? Is there a rainbow on/off switch? Thanks!
I have seen rainbows quite a few times in the sim when I have used live weather.
I am not aware that there is a 'rainbow on/off ’ switch though. I am guessing that as in RL the weather conditions have to be just right.
Fly in rainy weather with broken clouds and the sun behind you.

There is no rainbow on/off switch. You will only see a rainbow when the position of the sun, rainfall or moisture, and viewpoint are in the correct orientation for the rainbow to be visible to you. The sun must be shining behind the observer and fairly low in the sky, with the raindrops in front of you. Best weather being showers with bright sun.
