CPU and RAM usage far above what was being used in the alpha, especially in 2020!

Maxed out memory is causing stutters for me - wonder if this is server related or if we really do need 64gb of ram to play this smoothly

Same here, I have 64 and its maxing it out but it causes me ctd’s
I have 32 gb of ram and with the sim running, total used is around 25gb. I’m also getting some stutters but it feels like there is something else going on. While my FPS is around 50, I’m suddenly getting a “Limited by main thread” message" today which I hadn’t had since launch. Either the update yesterday is causing the issue, or the servers are affected, given that it is weekend and all.
On my pc it only uses a bit more than 16gb from 32gb. So it’s the opposite of you. I am wondering why the sim does not use all Ram which is available? Same for CPU - it runs on 50%. GPU is maxed out.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D 6x 4.10GHz
GPU: 20GB PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 XT
RAM: 32GB G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5-6000 DIMM CL30
I have set the most settings to High and Ultra. Sim runs with around 50 FPS. So does somehow know why this happens? Why it’s not using all CPU and RAM available?

I have the same issue. this Game would probably run better if it used what was available. 64gb here and it uses 18 or so. even gpu utilization isnt great, it colud use more.
I have 32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM. About 17GB are used while I play MSFS2024 my CPU (Ryzen 7 5800X) is chilling at around 30-40%. I’ve heard about some RAM leak problems so maybe you suffer from that.
