Went for a sunset flight around Yellowstone
Checked out some wildlife
And got to see something in the sim that was pretty cool. As the sun set behind a mountain I got to see the shadow move across the ground and up the trees. really cool to see that in the sim and that it wasn’t just a sudden change but gradually got darker. these photos were taken about 20sec apart

The 310 mostly works fine in FS2024. Some issues: the usual dim displays and missing pilot, plus no custom registration is being displayed (which might also interfere with the persisent aircraft state, haven’t checked) and the engines quit when you turn the aux pumps off, even though they should only be turned on when switching tanks.
The Classic Aircraft Simulations J3 Cub is pretty much fully FS2024 compatible now, including the walk around features. Couldn’t find any issues with it. A great choice to fly with all the new ground detail!
