I’ve gotten a little bored of flying around the US, so I took the Vision Jet down to Nassau, and now I’m flying the Longitude in Australia! The two Longitude pics are during departure from Darwin.
Took a few boxes from Orcas to Tillamook. I headed to the coast, then followed that down to Tillamook Bay while I had my GPS OBS set to guide me in over the bay in case the weather turned.
Departing Sacramento (KSMF) for the newly released Ukiah Municipal Airport (KUKI) by Nandengo12. It is great to finally have a proper FedEx building to park next to! After leaving the valley, we crossed the Northern Coast Ranges, catching a clear view of the Great Valley Flexure—which looks remarkably like a fault line. From there, we skirted along Clear Lake, passing directly over Clearlake Oaks, Lucerne, and North Lakeport. It wasn’t long before Ukiah came into view. We turned crosswind right over Lake Mendocino, right where CA-20 and US-101 meet, before safely touching down. Welcome to Ukiah!
