Atmosphere-dependent lighting, although it has made great strides, lacks some aspects of optical diffusion and rarefaction, in particular Rayleigh scattering which in fact has been simulated but only on red see for example sunrises and sunsets full of red unnatural when the weather is bad or in the rain to have a red sunset, try it (ed) so for now Rayleigh present but only for particular conditions.
