Re-locating the Sim

I currently have a small SSD for my C Drive (256GB) and a 2TB HDD D Drive and I have MSFS installed on my D Drive. I am considering upgrading my SSD due to space issues and would then like to transfer MSFS to the new C Drive SSD.

What is the best way to do the transfer? Literally ‘Move’ the directory from one drive to the other or would it be better to re-install from scratch which would presumably mean re-downloading everything again?

I think this should work for you.
Search for Microsoft Flight Simulator and use the App & Features move feature.

Review remaining files that you might have added, they would be in this folder:

%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages
