What’s the deal with having to download the same MSFS content from the Marketplace multiple times? These are not updates. I periodically get a list of “Not Installed” items in the content manager and they are items I have downloaded and re-downloaded several times. They number almost 30 and it takes a frickin long time to re-download these. What is MSFS 2020’s problem?
Iy you mean things in the community folder, you can ignore this"not installed".

Items in the Marketplace will need to be downloaded.
You have to buy each item you want. Then you can download it.
Free items require you to buy them but there is no charge.
Once you buy an item it is “Owned”.
Items in Content Manager have already been downloaded.
You can either install them or un-install them into FS2020.

- All content is Marketplace, not third-party content that goes in the Community folder.
- I know how to download new items. These items had been downloaded and successfully installed in the past. The point is that MSFS 2020 repeatedly says afterward that the content is not installed. This is after content has been installed and I have used it in game.
- Thank you ‘ccrbc’ for the link. Unfortunately, the suggested solution, which involves the ‘content.xml’ file is no longer valid. MSFS 2020 evidently no longer uses the Content.xml file so another solution is necessary.
