Ready to Fly button assignment

Posting here as it might make sense to VR flyers.
Is there a way to Bind the yellow “Ready to Fly” button to a hotas button?

I have most VR functions assigned to buttons on my hotas, got tired of lifting my headset to “Crt +Tab” or find the “Tab” button on the keyboard for VR menu, ESC and Main menu. I tried assigning the “Fly” but it does not work the same function. Appreciate any help. Thanks

I don’t think you can, but what I’m doing now is I launch the Sim from the Oculus Dash, the VR desktop, like if I was using my monitor, so I can manage the mouse etc until I switch to the Sim VR. After that, All VR buttons are mapped on my hotas, the 4 ones : switch vr-monitor, recenter and VR top menu on the base buttons, and zoom near my thumb as I use it often. I never had to lift-up my headset after that.

BTW : Does the setting in menu, remove the “pre-flight cinematic”, will bring you directly in the plane already ready to fly, after the click? never tried to remove it (it pre-load vram texture in advance).

I have a thrustmaster t16000 stick, and the main trigger just works for me to get past the ‘ready to fly’. I didn’t explicitly have to map anything to that button, it just works.

Since the UK update, I saw the option to bind CTL ENTER for “Fly” for this, but for some reason, when I bind “Fly” to a button on my Honecomb alpha it doesnt work. I see the button change to hover state but it doesnt take me to the screen. Going to keep testing.
Thanks all for help!
