It would be beneficial to know how this mod can be installed on an MS Store copy of the sim. Lots of folks here seem to be unable to do so.

Well, the weather is MSFS 2020 is “global” within the visible range. There is no way to just set some areas, and, say, fly from a storm into a clear region and still be able to see that storm raging behind you.
As of the transitions, the cloud levels are a bit tricky, and that’s on my “to do” list to address. The transitions should become less prominent. Currently they are fine if the new report is not much different, but you can get some wild results sometimes.
(To clarify, I am referring to the Unreal Weather mod, not to REX Weather Force)

Just bought it and works fine for the low altitude, but IDK when I am at 35000 ft cruising, the air temp looks TOO COLD than it should be. I think it might have a Celsius/Fahrenheit comprehending issue…there is NO WAY being -110 Celsius in 35000 ft. Anyone have that issue or it is just me?

I just had that issue as well, around -100 celsius

You are not the only one. I was flying TBM at around 25000. The aloft temp in WF’s dashboard shows it should be only -13’C at that around that altitude. OAT in sim showed -69’C.

Did you follow the installation guide in regards to the firewall and any anti virus software?
me too I reported it to Rex support last night. They asked for a screenshot and I sent it over. They’re aware of it now

Why not start your own post instead of piggy-backing and peddling your warez in this thread? And by the way, it’s nothing like what REX is doing.
Well, I was enjoying Weather Force very much but unfortunately I hit a bunch of errors with it today and can not get it figured out. Hopefully support will give me some ideas but long story short, the weather stops injecting after the first report and the app hangs eventually. MSFS continues on but Weather Force never comes back. I checked the log subfolder in the Weather Force installation folder and found a log file that records “Access to the path ‘C:\REX Weather Force 2020\MSFSWXDLL.dll’ is denied”.
I have given REX every permission you can regarding Windows Defender and firewall, along with changing the UAC setting the manual mentions to change. Nothing seems to fix it.
hope next Rex update will fix that

That’s why my TAS was so low! Going back to default FS weather for jets.

I couldn’t agree more. For $21.99 it fixes the weather we should of had in this sim from the start. Makes flying so much more enjoyable. What is 32N update you speak of?
Will this release ingame too? No way i’m fiddling with mods in folders like it’s 1999.

Sim just crashed using Rex WF2020 says due to simconnect error and some disable error. My internet started acting up just before the crash and I force a refresh of Rex program.
This sim is not ready for 3rd parties dev as PMDG have pushed the 737 back to Q3 or Q4 2021. It is going to be the best, but for now it is just a big experiment we are testing.
The foundation is here for a great product and when it works I don’t miss my $20 at all.

So you can visually see instant weather changes everytime the weather updates/refreshes the METAR in the sim using REX? Wow I thought that was just an Xplane quirk. Would have taken a look if the transitions were smooth. Is that not a small step back for weather transitions in the sim? I understand the visuals are nice with REX though.

No, the only instant changes are when you load it up the first time at your DEP airport.

Ahh ok thanks for the clarification. I was worried that the transitions were like XP in which case I would have been disappointed. I will take a look
