Description of the issue:

Clicking on the real time switch does not change the current time to real time

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta?

No. This started in the recent beta builds.

Everytime

1. Change time using slider to a different time
2. Click on “real time” toggle switch to change the time to real time
3. Observe the time of day does not change.

Using dev mode but no changes were made. Tested with dev mode off with no improvement.

In the SU3 beta, if you adjust the time and then click the real time box, the time in sim just stays at whatever it is at and does not go to real time even though the box goes checked.

It is fine in the sim menu when not in a flight, but it does not work in flight using the menu menu from the toolbar.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: The Real Time toggle slider does not change the time of day.
• User must select Live Weather and then Live Time for the Real time to become active.
• If the user adjusts the time of day from the Preset Weather, then selects the Real time slider again, the time of day does not change back to the current time of day.
• If the user starts the flight after changing the time and then selecting the Real time slider, the flight starts at the time previously selected, not at the accurate Real time.
• Occurs when adjusting weather and time from the World Map flight planning or during a flight from the Weather toolbar.

This is a change from SU2 where selecting Real time would always adjust the flight time of day back to the current local time for the selected location.
When the User clicks to enable Real time, the indicator shows that Real time is active. The time of day should also change to match the slider indication.
• When Real time is indicated, the time of day should change to be the Real time.

1. Select Free Flight.
2. Select Preset Weather and time.
3. Select Real time (slider checkmark is to the right when enabled)
4. Change the time.
5. Observe the Real time slider is now to the left.
6. Select Real time
7. Observe the Real time slider is now to the right.
8. Observe the time of day did not change. Time remains as set in step 4.
9. Select Live Weather
10. Observe Live time slider is to the left.
11. Select Live time
12. Observe the time of day changed to the accurate Real time.
13. Observe Multiplayer Live in now available.
14. Select Preset
15. Observe Real time is now accurate.

I haven’t used that feature recently so I’m not sure of its previous state but I just tried and it seems to be working now.
