Recommend me a 2024 aircraft without bugs

Forgoing the well documented issues of getting the sim running at all, are there any aircraft in the sim that currently work well?

I haven’t tried them all, but all the ones I have tried are plagued by 1 or more bugs, of varying the degrees of irritation. No sounds, problems with internal and/or external lighting etc etc etc.

Has anyone discovered any aircraft that actually functions as it should (apart from aforementioned sound/lighting bugs, as they seem to be acknowledged issues across the board at the moment)

Asobo 737max! It is very good compared to the a320/a321/a330/a400m. Currently I believe the best airliner is the 737max but i believe inibuilds will top the max before the end of the year! Also i don’t fly GA or Business jets so i can’t give you a full answer sorry.

I tried the max once, from London Heathrow but the sim CTD while loading, so I didn’t attempt again. Could’ve been down to the airport and not the aircraft though …

I recommend the TBM 930 for testing MSFS2024.

Actually, I’ll add one myself: the FSReborn FSR500 seems to work fine. No sound, not sure all the outside lights work, and no pilot models in external view, but it works and flies as I’m used to from 2020.

I had no issue with the Icon A5 !

VisionJet has been working fairly well for me, no issues that I can see with the G3000 in it. Only bug so far is the tires going ghosty in 3rd person (eh, barely noticable) and the landing lights don’t seem to cast light. Otherwise, very pleasant to fly!

If no sounds, reload again. This is a core bugs at the moment with many planes when the initial stream down gets suspended.

The lights work I tested all heavily before 2024 release via the devalpha.

The pilots is because Asobo removed the pilots for any 2020 aircraft working in backwards compatible mode.

FSR500, Sting S4 and TL3000 are aircraft that were created in msfs 2020 and ported to customers that bought it via MP automatically to msfs 2024.

However they cannot use all the new technology from msfs 2024 (such as carrer and other things) until they are fully converted towards msfs 2024 standards.

All the best,
Raul

The Twin otter is fine as long as you don’t use the auto pilot or try to land.

Are you now recommending a plane that you shouldn’t land?!?

I tried the TBM but the pilot side door would open randomly during flight. Other than that it worked pretty well.

How did you get that ?

C-172 has been the best so far for me. I am hearing the A-330 is very good. I tried the A-321 and it was not so good. MAX 8…ok…but I am used to the iFly version so didn’t seem very good compared to that but it was flyable…

Bought it in the 2020 Marketplace, so now in 2024 it’s available in my library!

Not showing in mine. I’ll try again in the morning when MS have another 22 hours of working on servers

Thanks Raul! About the sounds, I’m not so sure. I’ve done a lot of restarts today, but have never once heard any sounds from whatever airplane I was flying at that moment

If you want to see how a plane can go from sublime to ridiculous go see the PMDG 738/800

Last one to laugh wins the internet

Not heard anything good at all about the Twotter thusfar, so I think I’ll avoid that one. I didn’t think it was possible to get an even worse version than the Aerosoft iteration, but here we are …

To be fair to them PMDG themselves have declared the 737s and the 777 are not compatible at this time

I’m pleased and it’s evident how and why. It really is funny
